Prime Minister Awarded Power Engineering Specialists

PRIME MINISTER AWARDED POWER ENGINEERING SPECIALISTS

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 22, ARMENPRESS: A number of employees have been
awarded with Armenian Prime Minister’s medal, as well as have
been encouraged by appreciation diplomas on the occasion of the
accomplishment of the construction of Iran-Armenia gas pipeline,
and of the Day of Power Engineering Specialists. Today Prime Minister
Tigran Sargsyan himself ceremonially handed them the awards.

Governmental press service told Armenpress that speaking of the
achievements and reforms conducted in the sphere of power engineering
the head of the government said, "Today in this hall people have
gathered who have made an outstanding contribution to this sphere.

The system has to fulfill serious tasks – the construction of a new
unit of the atomic station, which will induce a quality change in
the situation of power engineering and will have not only economic,
but also a great political content, and the construction of a
thermoelectric power plant, which is wrapping up successfully, as
well as the implementation of other new programs.

Highly assessing the work of power engineering specialists, the
prime minister assured that the government will always support
the implementation of all the programs, then congratulated them on
the upcoming New Year and wished 2010 to be a year of progress and
achievements.
