ROMANIA’S DEFENSE MINISTER ARRIVES IN ARMENIA TOMORROW

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 8, ARMENPRESS: Romania’s defense minister Teodor
Melescanu is arriving in Armenia tomorrow, October 9< for a three-day
official visit.

Seyran Shahsuvarian, a spokesman for the Armenian defense ministry,
said on October 10 the Romanian delegation will have official
meetings with Prime Minister Serge Sarkisian, Defense Minister Michael
Harutunian and Chairman of the National Assembly Standing Committee
on Defense, Security and Domestic Affairs Arthur Aghabekian and Chief
of General staff of the armed Forces Seyran Ohanian.

October 11 the Romanian delegation will visit the Tsitsernakaberd
Genocide Memorial, as well as the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.

The visit will be wrapped up by signing of several documents on
bilateral military cooperation between Armenia and Romania.

The same day Teodor Melescanu and his entourage will leave for
Bucharest.
