Kocharian Flies To Belgium On Working Visit

KOCHARIAN FLIES TO BELGIUM ON WORKING VISIT

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 8, ARMENPRESS: President Robert Kocharian is flying
October 9 to Belgium for a three-day working visit. Kocharian’s press
office said he will be accompanied by foreign minister Vartan Oskanian,
chief of his staff Armen Gevorkian, finance and economy minister Vartan
Khachatrian, trade and economic development minister Nerses Yeritsian,
Armenian ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium Vigen Chitechian and
other officials and journalists.

Armenia’s president is scheduled to meet with Belgian Senate chairman
Armand de Decker and parliament chairman Herman van Rompas. He will
also address an Armenian-Belgian business forum at Circle de Lorraine
King Palace.

In Brussels Kocharian will meet also with European Commission president
Manuel Barosso, European Commissioner for legal issues Fratini,
EU Commissioner for security and foreign policies Javier Solana and
other officials, including European Parliament chairman Hans Potering.

Kocharian will also meet with members of the local Armenian community.
