RUSSIAN AMBASSADOR: SALE OF TANKS TO AZERBAIJAN JUST BUSINESS, NOT POLITICS

YEREVAN. – Russian Ambassador to Armenia said the sale of tanks to
Azerbaijan is pure business, not politics.
“It is business. There is no policy, and one should not focus on such
issues,” Ivan Volynkin told reporters during his visit to Sardarapat
Memorial on the First Republic Day.
As reported earlier, Russia sold a ô-90 tanks to Azerbaijan.
He believes there is nothing terrible in this deal, adding that
military and technical relations with Armenia are developing.
“We also develop military-technical relations with Armenia, it is
trade, there is nothing special,” he emphasized.
