UKRAINE READY TO FACILITATE NEGOTIATION PROCESS ON KARABAKH: PARLIAMENT SPEAKER

Ukraine supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of
Azerbaijan and is in favor of a solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh
conflict only through peaceful means, based on the principles and norms
of international law, said Chair of Verkhovna Rada (Supreme Council)
of Ukraine Volodymyr Mykhailovych Lytvyn at a meeting with the Chair
of Azerbaijan’s Parliament (Milli ME~Yclis) Ogtay Asadov.
Continuing, Lytvyn said that Ukraine is ready to facilitate the
negotiation process to resolve the protracted conflict within the
framework of the OSCE Minsk Group, particularly as Ukraine prepares
to assume presidency of the OSCE in 2013.
