The Artists for Peace concert was held at the Gibson Amphitheatre on
November 1st. The “Never Again” Peace Concert was the first in the
series of concerts against genocide.
The idea belongs to Flora Martirosyan. Thanks to her voice and
professionalism, Michael Stone felt our national pain years ago and
became the ambassador of Armenians in the American show business.
The Artists for Peace concert featured Chaka Khan, Eric Benet, Pras
Michel, Michael Stone, Alexia Vassiliou, Art Tuncboyaciyan, Malina
Moye, and, of course, Flora Martirosyan.
The “Never Again” Peace Concert honored the legendary Stevie Wonder
for his continuous efforts as the United Nations Messenger of Peace.
The Artists for Peace intends to organize a series of concerts in
different countries of the world ahead of the 100th anniversary of
the Armenian Genocide.
