BAKO SAHAKYAN PARTOOK AT A SOLEMN EVENT DEDICATED TO THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE SETTLEMENT’S LIBERATION

On 30 October President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan visited
the village of Togh in the Hadrout region and partook at a solemn
event dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the settlement’s liberation.

In his speech the President noted that the liberation of Togh was
among the first victories of our national liberation movement that
was important from military and historical perspectives. The Head of
the State considered the victory of Togh a prelude to the subsequent
victories.

Bako Sahakyan handed in state awards to a group of freedom fighters.

Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church
Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, premier Ara Haroutyunyan, other
officials, guests from Armenia and abroad partook at the event, the
Central Information Department of the Office of the Artsakh Republic
President informs.
