Armenia’s occupation and aggressive policy may resume military actions
in the region.

The statement came from vice speaker of Milli Majlis Ziyafat Asgarov.

He was speaking at the international conference on the 20th anniversary
of independence of Azerbaijan held in Baku.

He said it is frustrating that some states and international
organizations still turn a blind eye on such an Armenian policy.

“Armenian is arming in the region, holding a nonconstructive policy,
which raises the risk of stability undermining in the region. I think
it is time for international community to demonstrate a principal
position and voice their opinion about Armenian actions”, Asgarov said.

He also touched upon the interparliamentary ties of Azerbaijan,
saying that the parliament accounts for 75 interparliamentary groups,
which strengthens our ties with other countries.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
