ARMENIA AND LITHUANIA TO SIGN A COOPERATION AGREEMENT IN THE SPHERE OF EDUCATION

Yerevan/Mediamax/. Ministries of Education and Science of Armenia
and Lithuania will sign a cooperation agreement.

Armenian Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan said this
today at the joint press conference with his Lithuanian counterpart
Gintaras Steponavièius, Mediamax reports.

Armen Ashotyan noted that Lithuania is very interesting for the
Armenian educational system from the point of view of serious reforms
in this sphere. ´We are interested in Lithuaniaÿs experience in such
issues as school management, training of specialists and elaboration
of books as well as in issues related to financing,¡ he said.

Lithuanian Minister of Education said that within the framework of
cooperation between two countries they are going to exchange students
and education programs. Agrarian universities of two countries already
conduct negotiations in this direction.
