countries, expressed Iran’s desire to increase relations with Georgia.

"A visa elimination agreement will soon be signed between the two countries
and an announcement will be made on the matter. We will also be opening a
high consulate office in the city of Batumi," Fars News Agency quoted him as
saying.

Mehmanparast added that Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili had invited
his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for the second time to Tbilisi
and expressed hope that the visit could be scheduled for after Foreign
