ARMENIAN FLAG AND SARGSYAN’S PORTRAIT BURNT IN TURKEY

A protest has been held in Turkish Igdir in a response to burning a
flag and portrait of the Turkish leaders in Yerevan.

According to the Radikal newspaper, the flag of Armenia and Sargsyan’s
portraits were burnt during the meeting.

The nationalistically inspired young people also burnt the Armenian
flag in Istanbul.

In addition, they demanded from the government to withdraw the signed
protocols with Armenia from the parliament and not to maintain contacts
with Armenia until the liberation of Azerbaijani lands.

Meanwhil, the newspaper referring to its diplomatic sources notes
that official Ankara is ready to continue the normalization process
with Armenia yet it demands achievements in the Karabakh issue of
which it has already informed Russia, the United States and France.
