Baku: New OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs To Trip To Region

NEW OSCE MINSK GROUP CO-CHAIRS TO TRIP TO REGION

Co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group are going to trip to the region of
the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict soon.

French co-chair Bernard Fassier will visit the region in early
September. Several weeks later, he will visit again together with
the newly-appointed two other co-chairs from Russia and U.S.

The visits aim to discuss further ways of resolving Nagorno-Karabakh
conflict with Azerbaijani and Armenian leadership.

U.S. Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Matthew Bryza has completed its
term as mediator. Russian co-chair of the Minsk Group Yuri Merzlyakov
has also reportedly terminated his office as mediator. Name their
successors have not yet been disclosed.
