the Armenian Martyrs’ Memorial Committee. Guest speaker: Prof. Henry
Theriault, associate professor at Worcester State College, whose

will give a lecture about his most recent work `Tigranes II and Rome,’
translated to English from the original Armenian text (Yerevan, 1940)
by historian Hakob H. Manandyan (1873-1952). The book is regarded as
the first serious attempt to examine the 1st century B.C. Armenian
monarch, Tigran the Great, without appealing to patriotic sentiments
