You are the octopus of CP, the sea monster, Mr. Rubinyan, Alen Simonyan and Ararat Mi

“You are the sea monster of CP, this is a political assessment.” Mesrop Manukyan, MP of the opposition “Armenia” bloc, said this today from the NA podium as a deputy, addressing Ruben Rubinyan, the only candidate for the post of NA Speaker.

We present Mesrop Manukyan’s speech in full.

“You are curious about who Mesrop Manukyan is, and I don’t know why, you remembered an episode of my biography. Mesrop Manukyan has never given up or disowned a single line of his biography, unlike the assistants and godchildren of Manvel Grigoryan who joined your ranks, who died for him one day, and came to meet you with bread the next.

Look, dear citizens, I want to understand what a change in fundamental principles iswho?  Is it among the CP members, or is this of a continuous nature? Because of the changes that took place among the people of the Communist Party who held the position of the President of the National Assembly, I want to make a little reference to understand, Mr. Rubinyan, where do you start from and where will you go? Ararat Mirzoyan used to talk about his own financial difficulties, about refusing to give a TV on credit, and today he wears a sleeveless jacket of the brand “Brunello Cucinelli” worth several million drams. In Yerevan, an apartment near the Red Cross, he buys his own castle with walls, that’s from his declaration.

You know, I don’t see a problem that a high-ranking official of the Republic of Armenia, as well as you, Mr. Rubinya, should be present, you represent the state, but the question arises as to how these changes take place. Such questions also arise in the case of Alen Simonyan. his property transactions became the subject of public discussions. One day I won’t worry, I will make two or three long movies about him, about the things added to his name and the rest of the complicated transactions. I cannot escape the impression that the same story is being repeated over and over again with the top officials of the “Civil Pact” party today.

But I won’t go too far, Mr. Rubinyan, I want to start with a few stories. Mr. Rubinyan said that he was a member of the group negotiating with Turkey from the end of 2021, while we all know that in 2022 “Armbusinessbank” will be acquired by a Swiss company, and the state will become a 25 percent shareholder. It is circulating in the press that it has something to do with Konstantin Sokolov․ today Sokolov entered our Armenian life, Armenian reality. Let me tell you an interesting fact. Today, Ruben Rubinyan’s brother is the first deputy chairman of the board of “AMIO” bank, the chief director of business development, a member of the board. There is something interesting here, isn’t there a conflict of interest that the Central Bank is a shareholder in a commercial bank? In other words, how is the Central Bank going to check this company?

But let me continue because I have a lot to say. Among others, while studying the year 2022, the hero of our previous village, Tigran Avinyan, was also not left out. The latter, it turns out, received 11 million drams and another 13 million drams from “Armenian Business Bank”. I will study in more detail.

In 2023, Mr. Rubinyan, “MTS Armenia” applies to acquire some offshore registered car dealer, sorry for my wording, because that person, let me tell you his name – Manolis Tarchanidis, a 50-year-old Cypriot who was engaged in car sales, but wanted to acquire a mobile operator company in Armenia. They refuse, they see that there are security problems.

Mr. Rubinyan, but then, when already in 2024, the company “Fedilco Group Limited” registered in Cyprus, whose beneficiary is also Konstantin Sokolov, is acquired, and let me tell you something interesting: after the transaction, your brother Levon Rubinyan, the same Levon Rubinyan, is appointed a member of the management of “Viva Armenia”. It is published on the website today. I can’t even understand it a bit: that high position in the commercial bank and that high position in “Viva Armenia”.

Next: we see that the property of “AMIO” bank is “Hrazdan Cement” factory, people. In other words, a commercial organization with state participation should be directly managed by the state. If you could take a barn door and put it there, manage it, it wouldn’t close, today it went bankrupt, and the state is involved there, because it still belongs to “AMIO” bank, where the same Levon Rubinyan is.

The next interesting deal that happens, dear people, is acquired by “Rostelecom”, acquired by “Viva Armenia”. Are there security issues or not, folks? In other words, it acquires two serious operators, and Levon Rubinya is in the management team of the same “Viva”.  Guys, is this normal?

The continuation. it became very well known to all of us that Sokolov was appointed as the president of the TRIPP Foundation. Folks, the same person is already in our fourth sector.

Next, mining. there is fresh information that he has acquired a stake in our mining giants.

And here comes a question of sound logic. We mentioned four most important areas, people: finance, infrastructure, mining, communication. These are areas of strategic and security significance for any state. Areas that are extremely important for Turkey in the case of Armenia, are very important for Turkey.

And here the question arises: how is it that on the one hand Sokolov, the head of the TRIPP project (when Turkey is the biggest beneficiary of these projects), and on the other hand, the brother of Ruben Rubinyan, the chief negotiator of Armenia with Turkey, are involved in all these processes?

Folks, are there strange things or not in all this?

I will continue my study, Mr. Rubinyan. The activity that I conducted in the Yerevan Council of Elders, how the city’s budget is wasted, I will also do here in the National Assembly. You referred to my gesticulation, frankly, I have no problem offending anyone. No one. If I have a problem with offending someone, I say it straight to their face, I don’t have a problem with it.

You joined your colleagues late. For three years, I said so much about Manvel Grigoryan in the town hall until they realized who was or wasn’t by his side, they took him, they filled him in the town hall and many other places that I can tell.

But I want to understand something else, Mr. Rubinyan. I talked about these big problems, but I see small favors from you. For example, your father-in-law was brought in and appointed, Hakob Haji-Hakobyan was appointed head of protocol in the National Assembly in 2022. At first glance, it’s a normal phenomenon, people, what’s wrong, our friends can work too. But here and there, that person was convicted, in fact, mainly for taking bribes from Armenian citizens living in Turkey, so that they would receive a return certificate. The link is to open information, I can provide it to you. For example, an RA citizen who gave birth in Istanbul and wants to return to Armenia.

Mr. Rubinyan, to be honest, for example, I was trying to understand where Alen Simonyan and Ararat Mirzoyan started, where they went, where they arrived. Now I can’t even show your point, and I have the impression that Alen Simonyan and Ararat Mirzoyan are small fish against you. You are the octopus of CP. I have the impression that you are a sea monster, Mr. Rubinya. Mr. Rubinyan, this is not a personal assessment of you, this is a political assessment. Mr. Rubinyan, if you are offended, I apologize, but this is a political assessment, not a personal one. I have no problem with you personally, on the contrary.

For example, I was coming along the road, there were citizens, they were talking about Vilen Gabrielyan. I said no, you can’t. Then I’ll look at his choice, if it’s my turn.

But what do I want to say, dear compatriots? The problems I listed earlier are more important.

Mr. Rubinyan, isn’t it a bit strange that in our country the telecommunications, transport sectors, TRIPP, finance, infrastructure, mining and communication, the entire base of “Vivacell”, “Rostelecom”, we don’t know who it goes to. Look at the publications of “Hetk”, look at the others… And here, in my opinion, there are simply no strange or accidental coincidences, Mr. Rubinyan.

And let me repeat to you once again, Mesrop Manukyan did not give up any line of his biography in his life, and the change in his life happened when he was born, he was the son of the head of ВОДХОЗ, his life changed when he graduated from school with a medal, when he graduated from the institute with honors, when he had a scientific degree, when he was a lecturer at a university, when he was a referent of the president of the National Assembly… And I will continue like that. At the end, I will add, as it is said in the famous movie, I will remind you, slightly changing the form: “Ashugh Fatula, you did not read well”.
