ARMENIA’S POPULATION GROWS BY 3,000 IN 12 MONTHS

YEREVAN, AUGUST 9, ARMENPRESS: Armenia’s population has grown by
3,000 people from July 1, 2006 to July 1, 2007 to 3,222,000. One
million 665,000 were females and 1,555,000 were men.

According to Armenian statistical service, the average life expectancy
is 73.3 years, the highest, by the way, among former Soviet nations.

Women life expectancy is 76.4 years, 6 years longer than that of men.
