ARMENIAN DELEGATION PARTICIPATES IN 15th OSCE ECONOMIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL FORUM

PRAGUE, MAY 24, NOYAN TAPAN. The delegation headed by the RA deputy
foreign minister Armen Bayburtian participated in the work of the
15th OSCE Economic and Environmental Forum in Prague on May 21-23. In
their speeches the members of the Armenian delegation called on
to promote transborder cooperation in the OSCE territory with the
aim of overcoming the new challenges. They spoke about the Armenian
government’s priorities and the cooperation prospects in environmental
protection within the OSCE framework, presented OSCE programs being
implemented in Armenia, particularly Melange program.

According to the RA MFA Press and Information DEpartment, during the
visit, A. Bayburtain met with the Czech deputy foreign minister Tomas
Pojar and discussed directions of developing the bilateral relations,
problems of organizing political consultations and foreign minsiters’s
visits between the two countries.
