DASHNAKTSUTYUN CONSIDERS FORMATION OF COALITION NOT EXPEDIENT

Member of the Supreme Body of Dashnaktsutyun Armen Rustamian stated
in Yerevan today that he does not consider expedient the formation
of a coalition under the conditions of the distribution of forces in
the new parliament.
Armen Rustamian stated that Dashnaktsutyun has not received proposals
on formation of a coalition and he’s not sure such a proposal will
be received.
At the same time, he noted, "there are all the prerequisites for
cooperation both with the parliamentary majority, which is the
Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), and with other forces, represented
in the National Assembly."
According to Rustamian, if coalition is formed, it will be of an
"artificial nature."
Armen Rustamian expressed confidence that Dashnaktsutyun will continue
normal cooperation with the Armenian President Robert Kocharyan
