AZERBAIJANI AMBASSADOR PRESENTS CREDENTIALS TO VIETNAMESE PRESIDENT

Presenting credentials to the President of Vietnam Tran Duk Luong,
Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Hanoi Y. Aliyev noted his country is
interested in expanding and deepening of bilateral relations with
Vietnam, and informed the Vietnamese leader in detail on
socio-economic development of Azerbaijan, reforms being implemented
in the country, as well as touched upon the Armenia-Azerbaijan,
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
President Tran Duk Luong pointed out the importance of development of
cooperation between the two countries in various fields, and invited
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to pay a visit to Vietnam.
Ambassador Y. Aliyev also met with Prime Minister Fan Van Khai,
Foreign Minister Nguen Di Nien and other Vietnamese officials.
The meetings were focused on enhancing of the Azerbaijan-Vietnam
cooperation in the spheres of economy, trade, education and culture.
