The volume of Armenia’s foreign trade turnover in January-May 2026 amounted to 7,864.7 million dollars, decreasing by 0.1% compared to the same period in 2025, the Statistical Committee reports.
In May of the current year, compared to May of last year, the indicator decreased by 5.3%, and compared to April of the same year, by 5.6%. In January-May 2026, the volume of foreign trade in terms of drams was 2,953.8 billion drams.
Exports from Armenia in January-May 2026, compared to the same period of 2025, decreased by 3.7%, amounting to 2,864.9 million dollars.
In May, compared to May of last year, an 11.5% decrease was recorded, and compared to April of this year, 4.7%. In monetary terms, exports in January-April 2026 amounted to 1,076.3 billion drams.
Imports amounted to 4,999.8 million dollars in five months, increasing by 2.2% compared to the same period in 2025. In May, imports decreased by 1.6% on an annual basis, and by 6.1% on a monthly basis. In terms of money, the import in January-May amounted to 1,877.5 billion drams.
