17thousand 500 volunteers at citywide Saturday clean-up

During citywide Saturday clean-up and tree planting in the capital,
dozens of areas of public use were cleared and new trees were planted.
Institutions subordinated to Yerevan Municipality and many state
institutions including Defense Ministry, RA Police, members of Yerevan
Council, public organizations, private companies as well as thousands
of residents joined the initiative of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan.
More than 17 thousand 500 volunteers took part in the activities of
cleaning and landscaping.
During autumn citywide tree planting 20 thousand trees and 5000 bushes
were planted in all the administrative areas.
