Armenia’s National Security Council Secretary To Meet With Russian C

ARMENIA’S NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL SECRETARY TO MEET WITH RUSSIAN COUNTERPART IN MOSCOW

YEREVAN, September 3. ARKA/. Armenia’s Secretary of National Security
Council Artur Baghdasaryan headed to Moscow Monday to meet with his
Russian counterpart Nikolay Patrushev and the Secretary General of
the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Nikolay Bordiuja,
the press office of the Council reported.

Baghdasaryan and Patrushev will discuss bilateral cooperation and
implementation of the agreements reached in June, according to
the report.

Baghdasaryan is to discuss strategic cooperation between Armenia and
the CSTO at his meeting with Bordiuja.

Tuesday Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan is also to leave for Moscow
to meet with Russia’s Putin and discuss cooperation within the Customs
Union and the join economic area of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan,
as well as the security in the South Caucasus. -0–
