RENOWNED GENOCIDE EXPERT DONATES PERSONAL LIBRARY TO YEREVAN MUSEUM

The world-renowned genocide expert, Israel Charni, has donated his
personal library to the Armenian Genocide Museum- Institute of Yerevan.
The library comprises around 700 volumes, including theoretical
literature devoted to the topic, and other items concerning the Jewish
Holocust and the Armenian Genocide.
The Museum-Institute’s director, Hayk Demoyan, said they are planning
to keep the rich collection in their new library building and open
a special nominal room in honor of the Jewish expert.
According to a press release by the Museum-Institute, this is the
largest collection over the past five years. It is expected to promote
a serious research in comparative genocide studies.
