Demand for apartments by Russians in Armenia has increased

Russians have started looking for apartments in Armenia more often, while rental prices in Yerevan have risen, Verstka reports, citing local real estate agents.

Real estate agents reported that they have noticed a “huge demand” for apartments among Russians, who mostly move to Yerevan.

They compare the situation with the year 2022 and note that rent prices in Yerevan have increased by about 30% in the last three months.

The source noted that on Telegram, a popular Russian real estate search channel, dozens of new announcements from those who have already arrived in Armenia or are planning to emigrate in the fall appear every day.

According to Yandex Wordstat, the number of searches for “apartments in Yerevan” reached 5200 from July 13-19. There were 5,000 such requests during the week of February 28 to March 6, 2022, which increased dramatically during the September 2022 draft (almost 10,000).
