IRAN ARMY DAY CELEBRATED IN YEREVAN

YEREVAN. – The Army Day of the Islamic Republic of Iran was celebrated
in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan on Thursday.
Addressing the event, Iranian Embassy Military Attache, Staff Colonel
Hamid Reza Mirzaei stressed that the Iranian armed forces are ready
to strike back at any foreign threat.
“The military capacity of the Iranian army is intended to maintain
peace and stability in the region and to cooperate with the neighbors.
Good relations between Iran and Armenia play an important and an
influential role in strengthening peace, stability and security in
the South Caucasus,” Mirzaei stated in particular.
