ARMENIA ATTACHES IMPORTANCE TO ITS INVOLVEMENT IN BSEC

President Serzh Sargsyan received today Leonidas Chrysathopoulos,
Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea
Economic Cooperation Organization.
President Sargsyan hailed the Secretary General’s six-year activity.
He underlined that Armenia attaches great importance to its involvement
in BSEC, describing it as an important format that boosts regional
cooperation.
According to the President, the main mission of the Organization
of ensuring stability in the Black Sea Region through economic
cooperation and contributing to the establishment and reinforcement
of good-neighborly relations, go in line with Armenia’s objectives.
Leonidas Chrysathopoulos briefed President Serzh Sargsyan on the
issues discussed within the framework of the sitting of the BSEC
Parliamentary Assembly in Yerevan, as well as the work done by the
organization over the past six years.
During the meeting reference was made to Armenian-Greek relations.
