The Il-76 plane carrying humanitarian aid to Turkey took off from
Yerevan’s “Erebuni” airport at 2 p.m. today, the Ministry of Emergency
Situations reports.

The 40-ton containers include more than 100 tents, 500 sleeping bags,
more than 7 000 bedding sets.

A major earthquake rocked Turkey at 15:41 Sunday, leaving hundreds
dead and wounded.

On October 27 Armenia received an official aid request through
diplomatic cables.
