Hovnanian Enterprises founder, chairman dies

RED BANK, N.J. (AP) ‘ Homebuilder Hovnanian Enterprises Inc. said
Friday its founder and chairman, Kevork S. Hovnanian, has died.

Hovnanian, 83, founded the company in 1959. He led it as president
until 1988 and as CEO until 1997, when his son, Ara, became CEO.

The company said Hovnanian died on Thursday at New York Presbyterian
Hospital.
