Investigation is under way to identify the author of the false report on a bomb placed in a Yerevan-bound plane and Zvartnots Airport and to reveal the motives behind the crime, the Investigative Committee says.
The threat of a possible act of terrorism was sent to “Zvartnots” Airport through e-mail on March 24.
The law-enforcement bodies have enough proofs to assert that the e-mail was created by a person using an Azerbaijani IP, who accessed the Internet through a server in a third country. Other actions by the same user have also been revealed.
Probe into the details of the case is still under way.
