Armenpress: UN secretary-general arrives in Yerevan

UN Secretary-General António Guterres has arrived in Armenia to attend the leaders’ summit to be held as part of COP17.

His aircraft landed a short while ago at Yerevan’s Zvartnots Airport, where he was welcomed by Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.

The COP17 leaders’ summit will take place on 16 October. The conference itself will begin on 19 October and run until 30 October.
