After being wanted for a year, the son of the member of the “Prosperous Armenia” party, former deputy candidate Martun Grigoryan voluntarily surrendered to the law enforcement officers and was immediately transferred to a penal institution.
Official representative of RA Investigative Committee Kima Avdalyan according to the court’s decision, two-month detention was chosen as a preventive measure against Kamo Grigoryan. At the same time, in the interests of the investigation, a strict visitation restriction was applied to him. Grigoryan, who has been hiding from law enforcement agencies for a long time, appeared before the pre-investigation body accompanied by his lawyer.
The latter was officially charged with several articles of the Criminal Code. In particular, he is accused of physical interference by a group of people, hooliganism, as well as illegally circulating weapons and ammunition. The relevant departments are continuing the investigation in order to find out all the circumstances of the incident.
