EU IS READY TO ASSIST ARMENIA IN SECURING ENERGETIC SECURITY: HRISTEA

YEREVAN, 16 MARCH, ARMENPRESS. The European Union reaffirms its
willingness to assist Armenia in strengthening and securing its
energetic security and independence. This is what Head of the EU
Delegation to the Republic of Armenia, Ambassador Traian Hristea
underscored during a press conference following the signing of three
documents between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the
European Union.
“The documents that were signed today in the Government of the Republic
of Armenia served as an excellent opportunity for the EU to reaffirm
its willingness to provide Armenia with assistance in the energy
sector. The EU is ready to assist Armenia in securing its energetic
security and independence,” Hristea said, reminding that the EU has
been providing assistance to Armenia’s energy sector for nearly two
decades already.
