YEREVAN, DECEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian Higher Educational
Institutions can compete with the international Higher Educational
Institutions. In a conversation with “Armenpress” the Head of the
Division on Higher and Postgraduate Education at the Ministry of
Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia Robert Sukiasyan
mentioned that the policy targeting integration in the European
higher educational procedures and implementation of the Bologna system
provisions a number of reforms in three directions ~V transparency,
availability and growth of accountability. Robert Sukiasyan stated:
“The final goal of all these reforms is to make the Armenian
educational programs comparable and suitable with the European space of
higher education, so that the students, who graduate from the Armenian
universities, could have the same qualification and opportunities as
those students from the other member-states.” This means that the
students of the Armenian Higher Educational Institutions can be as
competitive, as those of the foreign universities in the international
market. And the number of necessary documents for their professional
qualification will be reduced.
