IF DIARY PRODUCTS ARE OUTDATED

Sour cream, yogurt, tan, milk and cottage cheese all production of
the ‘Igit’ LLC were reported with no production date and incomplete
libeling several months ago in more than 30 shops by the relevant state
bodies. The absence of proper labeling with regard to production is
not limited to this company production. As it was revealed by the RA
State Food Safety Inspectorate within the scope of its inspections in
about 10 shops the small cheese of ‘Van’ company involved in diaries
production did not have the production date, which means that it
could also be outdated.
The information regarding the production date was absent from labeling
of the diary products of ‘Apna’ company, however the indicated
Inspectorate did not fine any one from the mentioned company and took
the revealed violations into the account. Thus, we won’t get surprised
if outdated diary products will appear in the Armenian market in the
future as well.
