Baku – APA. The capital of Ukraine, Kiev, hosted regular meeting of
the Coordinating Council of Prosecutors General of CIS member states.

According to press service of General Prosecutor’s Office, interstate
cooperation on joint measures against crime, as well narcotic,
psychotropic substances and illegal circulation of their precursors,
illegal migration and other daily issues were discussed at the meeting.

By making a political statement contradicting protocol rules of the
event on non-legitimacy of Ramil Safarov’s extradition to Azerbaijan,
Armenian delegation rose a question on adoption of resolution by
the Council.

Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan Namig Esgerov
noted that, the question rose by Armenian delegation was baseless,
Ramil Safarov’s extradition to Azerbaijan was realized in accordance
with European Convention and under the article of Azerbaijan’s
Constitution # 109, he was pardoned relevantly to legislation and
international norms.

He thereafter spoke about occupation of 20% of Azerbaijani territories
as a result of Armenians’ aggressive policy, murdering of thousands
of innocent Azerbaijanis and displacing of near 1 mln persons and
stood against Armenian delegation’s resolution.

Coordinating Council of Prosecutors General of CIS member states
refused Armenians’ proposal and no discussion was held on that issue.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
