WORLD CUP TO HOST 3 ARMENIAN GRANDMASTERS

PanARMENIAN.Net – Armenian grandmasters Sergei Movsesian, Vladimir
Akopian and Arman Pashikian have signed contracts with FIDE to
confirm their participation in the World Cup to be held August 26,
2011 in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia.

Grandmaster Levon Aronian refrained to participate in the tournament,
due to his high Elo ranking allowing participation in higher stages
of the tournament, armchess.am reported.
