Making the draft age 19 years will give an opportunity to avoid
senseless bureaucrat red-taping as well as will create more calm
environment for students and pupils, Education and Science Minister
Armen Ashotyan said speaking to Armenpress and adding that the adoption
of law was an urgent issue because as a result of 12-year education
system students not reaching graduation period were reaching the age of
obligatory military draft and it violated their right to get education.
