TURKISH REVENGE BRIGADE INTENDED TO KILL ARF DASHNAKTSUTYUN MEMBER

Turkish Revenge Brigade (TIBT) planned to kill a high-ranking member
of Armenia Revolutionary Federation Dashnaktsutyun (ARFD), whose name
was not disclosed, Turkish police stated in a report.
TIBT also planned to kill Kurdish politicians and businessmen to
provoke Turkish-Kurdish clashes. The union cooperated with Ergenekon
and together with secret intelligence unit of Turkish gendarmerie
planned to kill an Armenian citizen, Turkish Zaman reports.
According to the report, on March 22, 2009 two TIBT members held a
telephone conversation. One of them said an ARFD member was to arrive
in Turkey. In response, the second person replied that he is chased
and everything should be put off for several months.
