THE ARMENIAN CHESS PLAYERS ARE IN THE FIRST PLACE

The Grand Master Meliqset Khachinyan (the USA) and the international
master Andranik Matikozyan (Armenian) received 4 points from 5 possible
and took correspondingly the first and the second places in the open
taken place in Los Angeles.

As the Armenian chess federation informs 37 chess players partook
in that tournament. Taking into consideration that fact we can say
that Meliqset Khachinyan and Andranik Matikozyan have recorded an
excellent result.
