SOUTH CAUCASUS FESTIVAL ‘I AM HUMAN’ IS UNDERWAY

Today at Yerevan State University within the South Caucasus "I am
human" Festival of peace and human rights the fest of Yerevan’s
documentaries started.

"This is a fest dedicated to peace and human rights. YSU Psychology
Dept. just participated and won to conduct festival in Yerevan,"
said head of YSU Psychology Dept. Hrant Avanesyan.

The South Caucasus "I am human" Festival of peace and human rights is
a fest conducted on wheels, so the festival screenings you can see in
various cities and towns. Those were in Armenia’s Noyemberyan, Kapan,
Yeghegnadzor and in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (Artsakh). Fest’s
concept appeared in Czech Republic.

According to Hrant Avanesyan, during the Fest Armenians could view
movies from France, Bosnia, Israel, Bolivia, and Latin America;
YSU will host 8 screenings, 7 of which are documentaries and one
animated film. He mentioned that after demonstration there will be
held a discussion.

It’s worth mentioning that YSU Psychology Dept. announced a poster
and essay competitions on "I am human" subject with 5 awards in each
nomination. The winners will be named on October 11.
