In Armenia as if discussions on the Armenian and Turkish protocols
are taking place, but unlike Turkey where the government is in active
discussions with the political forces, the Armenian government does not
respond to the opinions of the Armenian political forces. The member of
the ARF bureau Vahan Hovhannisyan said on September 14. He noted that
this proves the fact that the governmental anti-arguments are weak.
Vahan Hovhannisyan said Dashnaktsutyun will do everything possible
during the upcoming four weeks left from the initial six to present
the current worries of the public. Dashnaktsutyun is going to use
the methods of hunger strike as well as it will demand parliamentary
hearings.
In reply to the question whether Dashnaktsutyun will be satisfied if
Serge Sargsyan holds round table discussion in connection with the
issue, Vahan Hovhannisyan says according to his information, there
will be a round table discussion on September 17, while Dashnaktsutyun
expects serious discussions, consequently, it will not renounce its
demand on parliamentary hearings.
