YSU 90 ANNIVERSARY WILL BE CELEBRATED

This year marks 90th anniversary of the Yerevan State University. In
this connection, the university is preparing a number of events. The
president of the Yerevan State UniversityAram Simonyan says soon
the YSU museum will be open the richness of which will surprise. 15
jubilee books will be published the inauguration of which will take
place in early October. In particular, according to Simonyan, the
encyclopedia is especially important which will contain the biographies
of famous graduators of the university. An event is to be organized
in the Opera House. 60 guests from abroad will visit Armenia. A visit
will be paid to Gyumri to open a memorial plaque. Recall in 1919 the
Yerevan State University functioned in Gyumri due to the lack of a
building in Yerevan.
