"No scuffle was reported on June 4. No one was taken to hospital,"
Sayat Shirinian, the chief spokesman for the Armenian police, told A1+.

Rumours have it that yesterday evening Defense Ministry’s riot
policemen stormed into Erebuni police department and put up a
fight. Some people were reportedly injured.

According to Sayat Shirinian, a serviceman was really invited to
Erebuni police department yesterday within the frames of a criminal
case. The serviceman was accompanied by his immediate superior and
colleagues. Shirinian didn’t give any names.

"Is it that easy to beat someone in a police department? Are policemen
chickens? Do we witness gang rule in this country?" concluded
Mr. Shirinian.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
