IRAN, ARMENIA SET TO EXPAND TIES IN ENERGY/TRADE SECTORS

Tehran regards expansion of ties with Yerevan as a priority, President
Ahmadinejad said adding that the two countries should further expand
joint ventures in energy, transportation and trade. Given the regional
and international developments, cooperation between Iran and Armenia
is a matter of importance, the two presidents stressed. President
Ahmadinejad said that Iran supports development, stability and economic
bloom in Armenia. Armenian President, for his part, appreciated
Iran`s help so far offered for development of his country, adding
that Yerevan looks for expansion of ties and cooperation with Tehran
in all political, economic, cultural and other fields.
