The photos of renowned photo-journalist Harry Kundakchyan, 77, are
on display at the "City" University of New York.

Kundakchyan has dedicated his life to photojournalism. He started
pursuing his career in 1952 when he worked for the French "Lorian"
and later the Arabic "Zhardia" newspapers.

The renowned Armenian photographer has also worked for "Associated
Press" and in 1974 he held the post of chief editor of the Middle
East press department. Kundakchyan worked for the agency for 40 years.

During his career, Kundakchyan has traveled to 20 countries taking
photos of heads of states and political figures, as well as artists
and writers.

Harry Kundakchyan has received the international "World Press Photo"
and "Managing Editors" prizes.

The 77-year old photographer continues his career along with his
inseparable friend-his camera.
