TARIFFS OF SERVICES INCREASE BY 0.2% IN ARMENIA IN DECEMBER 2008

YEREVAN, JANUARY 8, NOYAN TAPAN. The tariffs of services increased by
0.2% in Armenia in December as compared with November 2008, which was
mostly conditioned by a growth in tariffs of recreational services
(0.2%), personal services (0.6%), and transport services (1.3%, in
connection with a 3.9% growth of passenger transportation services
by air).

According to the RA National Statistical Service, tariffs of medical
services grew by 0.1% in the indicated period, while tariffs of
housing, municipal, communication, cultural, educational, public
catering, legal and banking services remained unchanged as compared
with the previous month.
