RA PRIME MINISTER TIGRAN SARGSYAN RECEIVED PRESIDENT OF RUSSIAN

"Sitronics" OJSC Sergey Aslanyan, Vice President Sergey Ourezchenko
and authorized representative in Armenia Armen Khachatryan.

The parties spoke about the further development of cooperation
in the sphere of high technologies. President of Sitronics Sergey
Aslanyan presented the activities of this largest hi-tech company,
its participation in the federal programs of Russia, international
cooperation and involvement in CIS countries, Central and Eastern
Europe and a number of other States. He stated those initiatives
and cooperation programs applicable to Armenia. In particular,
the President of Sitronics spoke about the possibility of creating
a free trade zone of R&D type on the site of RAO Mars CJSC which has
been transferred to the Russian Federation under the Property for Debt
arrangement, in line with an assignment made at the 10th session of the
Armenian-Russian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation
Sergey Aslanyan also proposed to set up a venture investment fund in
Armenia, supported by Sitronics OJSC, and went on to assure that
his company is prepared to submit a cooperation program within
short notice.

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of an eventual cooperation
with Sitronics OJSC and expressed confidence that such cooperation
will benefit both sides in the sphere of high tech nologies.
