HZHK DECLINED INVITATION

The People’s Party of Armenia (HZhK) has spurned Serzh Sargysan’s
invitation to participate in a November 20 discussion over the current
phase of the Karabakh conflict regulation.

"We view any discussion of urgent issues concerning our country an
important initiative. Nevertheless, the HZhK will not attend the
meeting unless the political prisoners are set free," HZhK Leader
Stepan Demirchyan said to A1+.

Regarding the Karabakh conflict resolution, the HZhK Leader said,
"We have said many times that all efforts of the Armenian side should
be directed to the involvement of Karabakh in the talks. "
