What will be the benefit of Obama’s victory in the process of the
recognition of the Armenian Genocide?

In response to this question, RAFFI HOVHANNISYAN mentioned, "I
believe it is possible to anticipate that the President, unlike his
predecessors, has the political-moral background for translating his
pre-electoral promise into a post-electoral policy.

It is possible to cherish hopes that Obama’s victory will mark
the beginning of a new era not only in terms of the recognition
of the Genocide but also in terms of the United States’ attitude
towards related issues such as the Armenian-American cooperation,
the Turkish-Armenian relations and why not, the self-determination
of Karabakh."
