Coalition Appoints its Members

The council of the political coalition yesterday convened its session
to discuss the issue of proposing members for the fact finding group
to be set up by Decree of the President with the purpose of discussing
the March 1-2 incidents.

The coalition has proposed lawyers Robert Avagyan and Gevorg Tovmasyan
as experts for the fact-finding group.

Robert Avagyan, aged 69, has been working at the Institute of
Philosophy, Sociology and Law since 1965. He is the author of more
than 250 publications devoted to the problems of criminal law and
criminology.

First-class Advisor of Justice Gevorg Tovmasyan, aged 43, has a rich
experience in investigative work; for many years, he has worked in
the system of justice.
