Armenian Prime Minister Receives Slovakian Culture Minister

ARMENIAN PRIME MINISTER RECEIVES SLOVAKIAN CULTURE MINISTER

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS: Armenian Prime Minister
Tigran Sargsyan received today Slovakian Culture Minister Marek
Madjaric. Governmental press service told Armenpress that during the
meeting the prime minister greeted the initiatives directed towards
the development of cultural cooperation between the two countries
and the agreements reached during the visit of the Slovakian minister.

Tigran Sargsyan noted that close bilateral cooperation in the sphere of
culture may become a good means for consolidation of Armenian-Slovakian
economic ties. Armenian prime minister underscored the agreement signed
between the Slovakian and Armenian culture ministries, noting that
this document may promote new and interesting bilateral initiatives
for bringing Armenian and Slovak people close to each other.

Slovakian culture minister also underscored the importance
of the signing of the agreement from the point of view of
cooperation. According to him, the political relations between the two
countries are on a high level which may not be said about the cultural
and economic ties. The minister said here exists great potential which
is not being used and a lot of work must be done in that direction.

During the meeting the sides also spoke about Armenia’s
Euro-integration process, activity of the Slovakian Armenian community,
recent regional developments.
